Director of Pharmacy, 2 openings, Arkansas
- Director of Pharmacy, 2 openings, Arkansas:
- 150-175 bed for profit hospitals in nice locations;
- PharmD preferred;
- report to COO;
- Opening #1:
- 17 FTEs supporting hospital,
- Cancer Center and Coumadin Clinic;
- department in turmoil over adjustments in staffing and leadership changes;
- pharmacy is 24/7;
- need seasoned leader to take up where interim has progressed in processes and staff/team building;
- main IT platforms are MediTech Magic for hospital and Athena for clinics and Lexi-comp and Sentri-7 for pharmacists.
- Opening #2:
- hours 6A-10P, 7A-5P Weekends/holidays;
- Pharmacist on call;
- 3 FT Techs, 2 PRN, one vacant FT position, one PRN vacancy;
- 4 FT staff pharmacists, one clinical coordinator and one assist director,
- 4 PRN pharmacists;
- Projects/issues: USP 797 and USP 800 revisions requiring policy change and some facility upgrades;
- Pyxis ES implementation to start 2018 and complete early 2019;
- TJC survey due in 2019;
- software: MediTech Magic, Pyxis 4000, Sentri-7 and Alaris Guardrails;
Director of Facilities, Arizona
- Director of Facilities, Arizona:
- rural hospital;
- reports to CIO;
- strong hospital experience;
- good trainer and TJC exp;
- 10 years in hospital facilities;
- BS in Engineering or closely related field;
- certification as Facility manager a plus;
- Master’s and registration as professional engineer preferred;
- current and valid State of AZ Boiler Operator and Universal Refrigerant license and driver’s license preferred;
Biomedical Engineer, Arizona
- Biomedical Engineer, Arizona:
- rural hospital,
- reports to Dir of Facilities;
- maintains and repairs patient care equipment,
- performs maintenance and repair of all equipment in facility;
- oversees day-to-day functions of Biomedical Department;
- 5 years’ exp in hospital setting;
- Associate’s Degree in Electronics or Biomedical Equipment Technology;
- certification as Electronics Technician or Biomedical Engineer or 10 years’ recent,
- relevant experience can be substituted for certification;
- previous exp in tribal setting a plus;
