HR Manager job opening located in Monterey County Area of California.

Critical Access Hospital
Trains, hires, and oversees the work of subordinate employee relations staff; Supervises and directs the development of in-service employee training; Ensures compliance with human resource policies and procedures by subordinate staff; Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive Job Summary: Oversee policies, procedures, and programs of the Hospital’s Human Resources department; developing and improving programs related to employee morale and satisfaction. The incumbent has the primary responsibility for the administration of employee engagement programs in accordance with the organization’s mission, values and goals.
Position reports to HR Director.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Public Administration, or related field required or six to eight years of experience in lieu of a degree; Bachelor’s degree Required . At least six years of related experience required, including three years of management experience . 3+ years of Union experience in a healthcare environment. SHRM-CP preferred.
Location: Monterey CA Area. Close driving cities are Morgan Hill and Gilroy. San Jose – further but in reverse commute.
