Hospital Director of Food and Nutrition Services job opening located in Southern California.
The Director Hospitality Services is responsible for all planning and directing, Food and Nutrition and Clinical Nutrition Staff, Patient Services, the Gift Shop and all related activities according to policies, procedures.
Establish and enforce departmental goals, objectives, procedures and policies; review and evaluate existing operational methods and procedures of dietary services for effectiveness and efficiency, initiating changes as necessary to ensure compliance with federal, state, county and hospital regulations.
Establish effective relationships with medical staff, nursing and other patient care services; attend staff conferences and transmit information to dietary, gift shop staff and volunteers regarding new developments and trends.
Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition Science or Dietetics
5 years of Management experience in an acute care hospital managing or supervising a food service program
