Perioperative Services Executive Director

We are working with a 300+bed acute care hospital in the Portland, Oregon market looking for a Perioperative Executive Director. This hospital is not-for-profit health care network consisting of the medical center and 30+ medical clinics, home care and hospice services in the Portland metro area. They are a full-service acute care medical center providing a full range of inpatient, outpatient, emergency and diagnostic services to communities in the area. Key services include cardiovascular care, emergency services, orthopedics, radiation oncology, behavioral health, surgery, imaging, rehabilitation and women’s health. Following is more information about the position.

Perioperative Services Executive Director

The Executive Director is accountable for the execution of strategies developed in collaboration with the Vice President for Business Development and the Administrative Director of Perioperative Services. The Executive Director’s role is a position of influence and collaboration. The Executive Director facilitates change within and between hospital departments as well as physician practices with the goal of ensuring consistent quality patient outcomes and exceptional service. Success will also be measured by service line growth; effectively extending our mission further into the community.

Experience Required:

The ideal candidate will possess years of experience in and demonstrated knowledge of perioperative services operations including anesthesia and surgical processes, along with the ability to quickly establish credibility with physicians, nurses and other surgical and administrative staff.


Bachelor’s degree in healthcare of business field required.

Master’s degree in healhcare, hospital or business administration preferred.
