Director, Physician Compensation 

We are working with an Excellent hospital client in Hawaii looking for a Director of Physician Compensation. This position operates as a strategic partner with key management (including Clinical Integration Leadership, Human Resources, Legal and Compliance) in implementing a comprehensive physician Compensation & Benefits program. Ensures physician compensation models are effective, well understood and are compliant with all state and federal regulatory requirements. 
The candidate they are seeking will be skilled in anticipating problems and seeks solutions, is highly skilled in facilitating interactions among organizational departments and their functions, promotes teamwork and collaboration; accountable for outcomes and results to achieve the annual goals and objectives approved by the Board of Trustees. 
The minimum qualifications for this position: 
*Bachelor’s degree in health care, business administration or related field 
*Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related health care and/or professional field 
*(5) years management or leadership experience in physician compensation, physician recruitment or practice management 
*Solid understanding of business principles, (i.e., strategic and financial planning, budgeting, business planning, organization theory. 
*Proven leadership skills (i.e., planning, communications, motivation, mentoring, interpersonal skills 
*Track record of managing multiple departments, preferably in a comparable health care setting.
