This Clinical Manager will manage the clinical and educational resources and care standards for a specific patient population. The CNS Clinical Manager is a member of the Chief Nursing Officer’s leadership team and a member of the Advanced Practice Nurses Group. This Manager participates in the development of evidence based care delivery systems and clinical practice programs. The Manager’s role, along with other members of the management team, is to promote the provision of effective, high quality patient care to all patients.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Nursing required. MSN major in clinical nurse specialist, clinical nurse leader, education or related health care field. Current California RN license required Clinical Nurse Specialist Certification required.
Four years of RN clinical experience in an emergency department required. Trauma experience preferred. Three to five years of education or clinical specialist experience with increasing scope of responsibility preferred.
