Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) RN Job Opening located in Arizona.
We are working with an Arizona hospital looking for a Chief Clinical Officer to join their team. The Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) is responsible for the planning, organizing, developing, and directing the hospital’s nursing services and other clinical functions. The CCO participates with the hospital’s governing body, management, medical staff and clinical leaders in the hospital’s decision making structures and processes and is responsible for developing and implementing plans for provision of patient care, patient care programs and policies and procedures that delineate how patient care needs are assessed and met by the institution.
Reports to CEO.
LTAC hospital, 40-50 beds.
Location: Phoenix, AZ
QUALIFICATIONS:
- RN license.
- Bachelor of Science from an accredited school of nursing; master’s degree preferred and is required in applicable states.
- Minimum of three years of progressive leadership experience that is comparable to the Chief Clinical Officer’s authority and responsibility, the education and experience of peer leadership positions and commensurate with the scope and complexity of the hospital.
- Five years experience of nursing care (critical care preferred), treatment experience with the complex medical, surgical patient population, and comprehensive acute medical and therapeutic/rehabilitative care management.
