Controller job opening located in New Mexico.

The Controller is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department while overseeing Payroll, Accounts Payable and General Accounting. This position ensures that the financial statements and monthly reports are accurate and prepared in a timely manner. The Controller coordinates and leads the efforts involving the annual audit, Cost Report preparation, tax return preparation, and annual capital and operating budgets.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration is required. MBA preferred. At least five (5) years’ experience in financial operations. Good organizational skills and computer skills that include word processing, spreadsheets, ten- key proficiency and presentation software is required. Proficient financial and accounting skills. CPA preferred.
