Chief Nursing Officer job opening located in Coastal Oregon.
Searching for a CNO for a 100 + bed not for profit independent community hospital in Coastal Oregon. Their CNO retired and they are utilizing an Interim CNO. The CNO will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the overall operations of Nursing/Patient Care Services. Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities. The CNO will participate as a member of the Executive Team and serves as the strategic advisor to the CEO on all nursing activities. The Chief Nursing Officer will establish the vision, direction, strategy, and culture for Patient Care Services, which optimally supports attainment of the hospital’s mission.
BSN, MSN, MHA, or related health field, Ability to obtain Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon. A minimum of five years’ progressive experience in a similar role in an acute care facility in managing multiple nursing units.
