CMIO job opening located in Southern Coastal Oregon.
The Chief Medical Information Officer leads and champions the efforts to adopt, validate, and implement the provider related components of the electronic health record (EHR). The CMIO’s primary focus will be hospital inpatient, ambulatory, and ancillary services, but will include significant coordination with local clinics and affiliated entities. Looking for an individual who is a visionary leader, that is task oriented and results driven.
Five + years medical practice experience. Strong skills in performance management, quality, and data analytics. Knowledge of EMR Applications Systems, with three + years’ experience with EPIC, experience in clinical outcomes and quality management. Experience in routine use of clinical information systems for patient care. Successful experience with implementation of healthcare applications. Possesses good grasp of clinical workflow in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Commitment to the use of technology to improve and positively affect patient care. Visionary, task oriented, and results driven.
