Confidential Director of Quality Risk Compliance, WI

• Bed Behavioral health facility. Reporting to the CEO and a member of the senior management team, the Director of Quality, Compliance and Risk Management is responsible for quality/compliance/risk management plan and related services.  This position promotes awareness and compliance with legal, regulatory and accreditation requirements at all levels of the organization and is a champion of quality management processes promoting patient/staff safety, continuous improvement processes and monitoring of key quality indicators. The Director of Quality, Compliance and Risk Management frequently interfaces with accreditation, licensing and other advocacy entities requiring strong verbal and written communication skills.  This position exercises prudent decision making, initiative, judgment, problem solving and self-regulation in a multitude of situations.  Success requires a solid generalist knowledge of current laws influencing patient care delivery, basis statistical measurements and training approaches to ensure facility wide compliance. Candidate will possess an accredited bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing or a closely related field.  While various degree (non/clinical) backgrounds are supportive of job success, incumbents possess specialized training in healthcare law, Joint Commission accreditation standards, behavioral healthcare, quality improvement methodologies and ethics.  Preference is given to candidate currently certified in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Healthcare Risk (CPHRM) or Joint Commission Profession (CJCP).
