ICU Director job opening located in North Carolina.
A midsized hospital located in Central NC, is looking for an experienced ICU Director to join their team.
ICU: 8 bed facility with 10.8 FTEs
This is a full-time position. The selected candidate for this position will report to the VP Clinical Services / Chief Nursing Officer. Responsibilities include effectively leading department and responsible for departmental oversight; achieving departmental goals; collaborating to achieve organizational goals; coordinating all activities for the department; planning, directing, implementing, supervising and evaluating all aspects of the department patient care and operations; knows and strives to meet requirements set by regulatory agencies; in cooperation with Administration, other department leaders and others, shares responsibility for interdepartmental planning, program development, standards of care and integration of services.
Requirements:
- Current state of NC Nurse Licensure, BSN required. MSN preferred.
- Prefer at least 5 years of hospital acute care experience and at least 2 years of leadership experience.
- Results oriented and engaged in collaborative goal setting.
- Displays sound judgment and critical thinking.
- Demonstrates time management skills, including prioritization, timely follow up and deadlines.
- Quality performance monitoring, labor management, scheduling, clinical / contract and new hire processes.
- Evidence of preparing and monitoring annual Intensive Care Unit budget.
- Sound Fiscal Management skills.
