Executive Director of Imaging Services job opening in a large health systems in the Raleigh, NC area. They will be overseeing multiple locations and therefore needs to have experience overseeing multiple locations to be considered. Preferred candidates will already have a similar background – leading multi-site, multi-modalities. Perhaps at a slightly smaller organization, but wouldn’t want it to be too small. Trauma center experience is also a plus…as that adds a level of complexity dealing with truly stat orders. It’s important for the person to have a broader understanding of Imaging Services – we’ve seen candidates with a big focus on vascular/cardiac…but that’s not enough…they have to have the depth to understand all facets of Imaging operations. The Director will oversee approximately 150 FTEs with approximately 8 Managers as well.
The Executive Director of Imaging Services will supervise the operations of inpatient and outpatient imaging services. In addition to operational responsibilities, this role will create or refine offerings that align with the strategic vision and growth goals of the hospital and Hospitals ensuring the highest levels of clinical quality, patient satisfaction, integrity and commitment of the imaging team. Radiology services include angiography, MRI, Ultrasound, CT, diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, mammography and PET. This position reports to the Sr. Vice President & Administrator of North Enterprise.
Minimum requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Finance Or Business Administration Or Healthcare Required – And Master’s Degree Health Administration Or Master’s Degree Business Administration Preferred
Experience: 5 Years Management – Direct Area of Responsibility Required
Licensure/Credentials: Registered Technologist for Radiography Required
