Psychiatric NP Job Opening in Washington State

Job opening in SE Washington for a Psychiatric NP— You will be working with 2 Psychiatrists and 1 other Psych NP.  Possibly rotating between 3 sites.  Appointments typically last an hour.  It’s a clinic position, day shift, Mon-Fri.  Primarily diagnosis and medication management as well as some clinical leadership in the department.  It really is too busy here to do much therapy other than in the medication management sessions themselves.  Minimum 1 yr of experience.   Unit details:  Outpatient, Ages 6 and up, 10 to 12 patients per day, 30 minutes for med checks, 1 ½ hours for evaluations, one new evaluation per day except on Tuesdays where there might be two, notes are dictated.  Will work with 15 Counselors,  clinical supervisors, case managers, therapists and 3 nurses who triage calls, do refills, follow up on lab work, hand out samples etc. 

These facilities are all part of a Federally Qualified Health Center.  You will see patients with insurance, with Medicare, Medicaid and some with no insurance at all.  There is a large Hispanic population here as well.  Must be comfortable with all of this.

Client covers all interviewing expenses, relocation allowance is offered, and CMEs are covered.
