Job opening in a small rural hospital in Western CO, for an experienced Marketing and Communications Director to join their team.
The position is responsible for implementing, monitoring and evaluating the overall marketing and communications strategy for the entire health system. The Marketing and Communications team effectively positions and connects the hospital to the community by promoting programs and services, creating and managing social media, video and web content, developing and implementing events, and collaborating with community partners. Working in a small team, the department supports over 40 divisions within the health system to outline and implement communications strategies, promotions, advertising and event marketing. They are looking for a hands on Director, someone who is willing to “get their hands dirty”. The marketing team is a team of 2. They need someone who doesn’t mind making copies when needed and then go out and hang the flyers. They want someone who is strategic in thinking, yet able to do it all. If you have always had a big team to do most of the work, this job isn’t for you. The Marketing Director will also be attending lots of marketing events in the community. They are hiring a Digital Marketing Specialist as well. The Director is part of the Executive Team which consists of 6 others, so you do get to be part of the big strategic plan for the hospital.
