Summary:

The Software Architect has the mandate to ensure custom software development (e.g., web based, mobile, services, and data, and integration points) are consistent and optimal and the delivery is in alignment with the strategic direction of the enterprise. This position will deliver cloud and on premise solutions to facilitate cost effective and efficient systems for business optimization and agility.

  • Contribute to the enterprise software architecture strategy and delivery including the integration of components across multiple environments and platforms (e.g., cloud, on premise, co-location, and devices).
  • Provide expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the overall systems of enterprise architecture.
  • Establish and maintain standards that guide the design and implementation of technology solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms and operating systems across the enterprise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in CS/EE Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Master’s Degree in CS/EE is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience with information systems in a complex multi-platform environment
  • Strong technology research skillset with proven ability to architect and present technology alternatives based on scope-level business concepts
  • Familiarity with cloud-based services
  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analyses, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development
  • Excellent knowledge of database solutions, application services, application integration and architecture patterns
  • Demonstrated expertise in a wide range of software development, client/server, data storage, systems integration, and networking technologies
  • Forward-thinking and excellent planning skills – able to develop monthly, quarterly, yearly, 3-year plan

 

RN – Principle Clinical Trainer

Large Hospital (700+ beds) in NW Nevada, 22 miles from Lake Tahoe, 30 miles north of Carson City, 130 miles from Sacramento

Job Scope/Highlights:

  • Principal Trainer is a member of the Application Team. 
  • Has mastery of the electronic medical record application and the Operational Unit specific workflows.
  • Provide timely, secure, accurate information, information support and information technology to facilitate our integrated business model.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of the end-user training as part of the successful implementation of the electronic medical record for a specific Operational Unit
  • Participate in workflow design and system build to gain an understanding of why the application has been built to work as it does.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse
  • NV license or able to obtain
  • 2+ years of work related experience in the training or education field.
  • Experience with an electronic medical record product preferred.
  • Training of a technology that fundamentally changed clinical practice preferred.
  • Familiarity with RoboHelp, RoboDemo, Authorware or similar web/Computer based training tools.

 

Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst

This role requires strong technical ability as well as strong business acumen

Job Scope:

  • Working as the Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, you will work with the BI team to deliver BI Solutions. This individual will help set the direction and strategy for getting data that is critical to the success of the healthcare system business.
  • You will perform requirements analysis, data integration, data modeling, design, and BI development to deliver short and long-term data solutions.
  • Work with Business Analysts, EDW Data Architects, executives and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize critical data assets, as well as the modeling, analysis, and design of data delivery methodologies that should be applied, all while maintaining a “single source of truth”.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations, Management, or other related field is required. Experience may be substituted for required education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Requires a minimum of five (5) years IT\IS experience with at least three (3) years working in data management, analysis, governance, reporting, or other BI related experience.
  • Requires least two (2) years healthcare data experience; more is preferred. SQL experience and proficiency.

 

RN for a Full time Clinical Informatics Specialist role 

Job Scope:

  • As the Clinical Informatics Specialist, you will be responsible for the establishment and management of a centralized process for the hospital system’s need for evidence-based medicine and information standardization, education, communication and compliance.
  • Responsible for coordination and execution of deliverables related to the Electronic Medical Record..
  • Responsible for supporting the development of clinical information systems & information technology that assist clinicians in the delivery of evidence-based patient care.
  • Serves as an advocate in promoting the use of information technology to provide current evidence-based treatment guidelines at the point of care.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business management, nursing, or related field required
  • Master’s degree in business management, healthcare or finance preferred.
  • 5 years of health care experience in a position of increasing responsibility, including experience with Electronic Medical Record.
  • Experience in leading organizational change, in developing positive rapport with staff members who may be resistant to change

 

Data Integration Architect 

Job Scope:

  • The Data Integration Architect works as an advanced technical lead to coordinate, validate and deliver short and long term enterprise data management initiatives.
  • Designs, develops, implements, maintains and continuously refines data warehouse architectures, logical and physical data models, application\transactional interfaces, data integration methods, EDI transactions, and end-to-end data flows
  • Leads the technical and logical components of enterprise information architecture and implementation.
  • The primary focus will be the development and maintenance of flexible data architectures and data flows supporting BI\EDW solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations, Management, or other related field is required.
  • Experience may be substituted for required education on a year-for-year basis.
  • 4 years of experience with ELT automation, data management, or interface design, development and maintenance. Is required.
  • Proficiency in requirements analysis, reporting build, or other data management related experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of physical database design and data structures
  • Expert knowledge of one or more database management systems
  • Strong Experience with data management platforms (e.g. SSIS, SSAS, InfoSphere, Talend, Informatica, SAS)
  • Expert skill level in SQL, data integration, data modeling and data architecture skills
  • Knowledge of interface engines and protocols.
  • Experience with HL7, X12 and/or XML and OPENLink

  • Pharmacist with Nevada license or able to obtain
  • 2 years of full-time work experience as a licensed pharmacist
  • At least six (6) months of work experience with pharmacy technology/information system or experience within an acute care clinical pharmacy
  • Experience in leading organizational change, in developing positive rapport with staff members who may be resistant to change, and in motivating others to complete their tasks in a timely manner strongly preferred.
