Job opening for a Director of Surgical Services located in Washington State.
Reporting to the Chief Patient Care Executive, the Director of Surgical Services has responsibility for the management and operation of Hospital’s Surgical Services departments to include Pre-Admission, Operating Suites, PACU, Endoscopy, and Sterile Processing. The Director services as a clinical role model and is actively involved in initiates to continually improve the patient care experience. This position is responsible for staffing, training, performance management, compliance and fiscal management of departmental assets, and implementing and evaluating quality improvement plans, including but not limited to, work process standards and performance goals to ensure optimal service delivery and patient care.
Requirements:
- BSN required;
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Business, or Healthcare Administration encouraged.
- Minimum of five (5) years of previous clinical leadership experience in a Surgical Services setting.
- Active RN license issued by the WA Department of Health along with BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications;
- CNOR certification encouraged.
