Job Summary:
This position is with a 700-bed hospital and Trauma Center & part of a 6 member health system. Through managers, will direct the following inpatient units:
- 6 LDRs 25-bed NICU
- 2 ORs 10-bed Peds Unit
- 20-bed Mother/Baby Unit 5 Peds ER Rooms
- Oversees a total of 66+ beds, 150 FTEs
- Reports to the Vice President of Patient Care Services
- 1,300 deliveries a year
Position:
This position is responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating the activities of the Women’s & Children’s Service Line. Supervises 2 Nurse Managers, formulates goals, recommends budget, and performs administrative activities to ensure effective patient care.
Location:
Live in an area close to beach communities, boating communities, historical sites galore and cultural activities. Participate in activities such as deep-sea fishing, sailing, shopping, or East Coast site seeing or visit the art galleries, museums, zoos, and aquarium all at your fingertips
Qualifications:
RN, BSN, Master’s Degree required, MSN preferred. Doctoral degree (DNP or PhD) or willingness to enter a program upon hire is required. Experience in OB and Pediatric Services preferred. Prior clinical experience in L&D required. 4 – 10 years of progressively responsible nursing leadership exp required.
