Registered Nurse ICU

  • Full Time Nights
  • Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of one year acute care experience within the past two years. Six months recent experience in critical care is desirable.
  • Licensing Requirements:Current California RN License. Current BLS and ACLS for healthcare providers. PALS within three months of hire date or transfer to the ICU.
  • Language Requirements: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

 

Registered Nurse OB

  • Full Time Nights
  • Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
  • Work Experience: Six months recent experience in labor and delivery unit preferable with adequate number of deliveries to ensure competence in all areas of labor, delivery, post- partum and newborn care.
  • Skills Requirements: Knowledge of high-risk labor/delivery, neonatal and post-partum management. All new hires will within 3 months have completed the APS Perinatal Safety curriculum or other comparable contents coursework endorsed by ACOG or AAWHONN. EXCEPTION: RNs hired for L&D training will preferably have a basic fetal monitor class. By 6 months an Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN Fetal Monitor Certificate is required.
  • Licensing Requirements: Current California RN License, Current AHA BLS, Current NRP, Current ACLS desirable, Current S.T.A.B.L.E. desirable, Current Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certificate, (within 6 months of hire or transfer to OB Department) 

 

Chief Financial Officer

  • Full Time
  • Education: Degree in Business Administration with accounting emphasis- required. CPA highly desirable.
  • Work Experience: Work experience in a California acute care hospital or other health care institution, public accounting firm or related environment as a controller or similar function level highly desirable. Experience with Critical Access as well as experience with Medicare Cost Reporting.
  • Skills Requirements: Demonstrates in depth knowledge and experience in managing general accounting, patient accounting, budgeting, reimbursement, management information systems, materials management, utilization review and medical records system. Familiarity with financial and patient care information systems, within a highly computerized organization.
  • Special Demands: Ability to supervise and work cooperatively with others. Must be able to delegate duties and maintain efficient standards of operation.

 

Patient Renal Care Technician

  • Full Time Days
  • Education: If possessing only a CCHT must have successfully completed a California Department of Public Health (CDPH) approved Hemodialysis Training Program.
  • Licensing Requirements: Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) certificate or Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT). Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Language Requirements: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Special Considerations: Will be dealing with patients 18 years and older.

 

Director of Outpatient Clinics

  • Full Time Days
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, hospital administration, public health, public policy and/or business administration. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Work Experience: Five years of progressive responsible management experience in a clinic system.Possession of a Master’s Degree in Hospital administration, health care administration, publichealth, or business administration may be substituted for one year of the experience required.

 

Family Nurse Practitioner

  • Per Diem Day
  • Education: Completion of Accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Skill Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively
  • Licensing and Certification Requirements: Current License as Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner with the Board of Registered Nursing in the State of California. Successful completion of an accredited nurse practitioner program of study which conforms with the Board’s educational standards set forth in the California Code of Regulations Section 1484 for California graduates only. Or Current certification by one of the following boards: the American Nurses Credentialing Center or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or Pediatric Nursing Certification Board or National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Nursing Specialties, or American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. Current AHA BLS certified. Current AHA ACLS certified (if submitting privileges for inpatient setting)

 

Surgery Technologist

  • Full Time Day
  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) – required Graduate of an approved surgical technologist or military equivalent program – required
  • Work Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience within the last three (3) years’ operating room scrubbing or equivalent military experience, including a variety of surgical procedures. Or Experience requirements may be waived or modified when an appropriate program or course is available and successfully completed.
  • Licensing/Certification Requirements: Current AHA BLS – required Certification in Surgical Technology – preferred

 

Clinical Nurse Manager: Emergency Department

  • Full Time
  • Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
  • Work Experience: Minimum two years progressive experience in Emergency Room. Knowledge of legal aspects of Emergency Room nursing. Knowledge of Emergency Room techniques and management.
  • Licensing Requirements: Current California RN license – required. Current AHA BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications – required. Board certification in emergency services – preferred

 

Physician Assistant

  • Full Time Day
  • Education: Training at an Accredited Physician Assistant Program
  • Skill Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively. Revised 03.17.15
  • Licensing Requirements: Current California Physician Assistant License (PA) Current National Commission of C

 

Registered Nurse Dialysis

  • Full Time Day
  • Education: Graduates of an Accredited School of Nursing
  • Work Experience: Minimum of nine (9) months nursing experience plus a minimum of three (3) additional months experience in Dialysis. Revised 06.16.14
  • Skill Requirements: Minimum of three (3) additional months experience in Dialysis
  • Licensing Requirements: Current California RN license Current AHA BLS certification.
  • Language Requirements: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

 

Registered Nurse- Staff Nurse II Emergency Department

  • Full Time All Shifts
  • Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of one year acute care experience within the past two years. Six months recent experience in Emergency Department is desirable.
  • Licensing Requirements: Current California RN License. Current BLS, ACLS and PALS for healthcare providers.
  • Language Requirements: CEN and NRP Preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

 

Registered Nurse Surgery

  • Full Time Day
  • Education: Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing preferred.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of one year recent experience as operating room nurse
  • Licensing Requirements: Current California RN license. Certification in CPR and ACLS PALS within 3 months of hire
  • Skill Requirements: Possess a thorough knowledge of general nursing theory and practice as well as a thorough knowledge of operating room techniques. Mental and physical health sufficient to meet the demands of the position. Possess a sense of responsibility, initiative, tact, discretion, and diplomacy.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to sit up to 2 hours and stand/walk for up to 4 hours or more per day. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Special Demands: While on call, OR personnel have a 20 minute response time for all cases. Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians and ancillary departments.
