CV Services Director opening in SC

Midsized health system with a couple of locations, located in SC, has a need for a Director of Cardiovascular Services to join their team.

 

The Director will be overseeing CVOR, CV Recovery, EP Lab, Cath Lab, Echo, and School of Diagnostics (cardiovascular school on campus) where they recruit their students for positions at the hospital.

 

The hospital is well know for their Cardiovascular Services in the community.

 

Each department has a Supervisor running the department.

 

This position will oversee at least 50 FTEs.

 

Must have experience running the entire CV Service Line.

 

Need someone with not only the clinical experience but someone who knows the Business component as well.

 

Candidates MUST be a RN, no exceptions.

 

Candidates MUST have the CV service line experience.

 
The Director of Cardiovascular Services is responsible for the daily operations of the Cath Lab, EP Lab, 2nd Heart, EKG/EEG, Cardiovascular Imaging and the School of Cardiovascular Diagnostics.

 
The Director is Responsible for budget, capital equipment, lab accreditation, employee evaluations, quality assurance, performance improvement, education and training of the staff. Will have the authority to initiate and control the above defined areas’ operations to achieve optimum results.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 
Experience: Minimum of five years management experience in a clinical field required.

 

Includes special training/licensure and specific skills required/preferred)

 
Education: BS Degree in Health related field required.

 

Masters degree preferred.

 

Bachelors in Nursing REQUIRED.
