Chief Financial Officer
Education:  Degree in Business Administration with accounting emphasis- required, CPA highly desirable 
Work Experience:  Work experience in an acute care hospital or other health care institution, public accounting firm or related environment as a controller or similar function level highly desirable. Must have hospital experience or possibly auditing hospitals. 
Skill Requirements: Demonstrated in depth knowledge and experience in managing general accounting, patient accounting, budgeting, reimbursement, management information systems, materials management, utilization review and medical records system. Familiarity with financial and patient care information systems, within a highly computerized organization.
 Clinical Nurse Manager: For ICU & Med Surg
Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred. Board certified in either critical care or medical surgical nursing through ANCC preferred. 
Work Experience: Minimum two years progressive experience in ICU and medical surgical units. Knowledge of legal aspects of nursing. Knowledge of critical care and medical/surgical nursing. 
Licensing Requirements: Current California RN license Current AHA BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications.
Manager: Infection Prevention

Education: Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) Or Clinical Laboratory Scientists (CLS)
Licensing/Certification: Current California Registered Nurse license Or Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist license. Certification in Infection Prevention (CIC) required. American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate.

 Manager: Dialysis

Education: Graduation from an accredited Nursing School. BSN preferred 
Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience in an ESRD patient care facility including hemodialysis experience.  Prefer previous supervisor experience.
Skills Requirements: Understanding of group dynamics and systems processes.
Licensing Requirements: Advanced biomedical and/or technical training/certificates preferred. Current California RN license and current AHA BLS Certification


House Supervisor

Education:
 Graduate form an Accredited School of Nursing   

Work Experience: Three or more years recent and progressive experience in an Acute Care Hospital. 
Licensing Requirements: Current California RN license, and current AHA BLS and ACLS certificate.

 Clinical Lab Scientist

Education:
 Bachelor’s Degree in a field of Lab Science preferred. 

Work Experience: Twelve months as a trainee required; 1-3 years’ experience desirable. 
Skill Requirements: Proficiency in the routine work of all laboratory departments is required; expanded knowledge and interest in one or more areas is desirable. 

Licensing Requirements: A current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license is mandatory; a license from a National Registry is desirable. 

Language Requirements: Ability to understand English. Spanish language skills are helpful. 
Employee Health Nurse

Education:
 Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing – required, BSN – required Masters – preferred.

Skills Requirements: Ability to perform comprehensive physical exams and documents accordingly. Able to communicate and problem solve effectively. Knowledge of personnel policies and state/federal guidelines. Ability to interact courteously and tactfully with staff, visitors, vendors and the general public. 

Licensing/Certification: Current California Registered Nurse license – required American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate – required 

Work Experience: Minimum of two years in acute care setting – required Previous experience in employee health or occupational health – preferred.


Physical Therapist

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy.
Skill Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively.
Licensing Requirements: Current CA Physical Therapist License. 
Certified Nurse Midwife/FNP
Education:  Completion of an American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM) accredited nurse midwifery program. Completion of Accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
Licensing Requirements: Current License as Advanced Practice Nurse with the Board of Registered Nursing in the State of California Licensed as a Nurse Midwife with the Board of Registered Nursing in the State of California Licensed as a Registered Nurse with the Board of Registered Nursing in the State of California Current active certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board (or its predecessor, the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM) Certification Council), or be actively seeking initial certification and obtain the same on the first examination for which he or she is eligible.  Current AHA BLS Current AHA ACLS Current AHA NRP
Family Nurse Practitioner

Education:  Completion of Accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Licensing Requirements:  Current License as Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner with the Board of Registered Nursing in the State of California. Successful completion of an accredited nurse practitioner program of study which conforms with the Board’s educational standards set forth in the California Code of Regulations Section 1484 for California graduates only
Or
Current certification by one of the following boards:  the American Nurses Credentialing Center or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or Pediatric Nursing Certification Board or National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Nursing Specialties, or American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.

Manager: Surgery

 Registered Nurse Surgery PACU
Education: Graduates of an Accredited School of Nursing. 
Work Experience:  Minimum of one year recent experience as operating room nurse 
Licensing Requirements: Current California RN License. Current BLS and ACLS for healthcare providers. PALS within three months of hire date.
 Registered Nurse II-Dialysis
Education: Graduates of an Accredited School of Nursing 
Work Experience: Minimum of nine (9) months nursing experience plus a minimum of three (3) additional months experience in Dialysis. 
Skill Requirements:Minimum of three (3) additional months experience in Dialysis
 Licensing Requirements: Current California RN license.  Current AHA BLS certification. 
Language Requirements: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Registered Nurse ER-Nights
Education: Associates degree in Nursing preferred. 
Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year acute care experience within the past two years, Six months recent experience in Emergency Room desirable.
Licensing Requirements: Current California RN License, Current BLS for healthcare providers, PALS, & ACLS, CEN and NRP Preferred
Registered Nurse ICU-Nights

Full Time Nights
Education: Graduates of an Accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. 
Work Experience: Minimum of one year acute care experience within the past two years. Six months recent experience in critical care is desirable.  
Licensing Requirements: Current California RN License. Current BLS and ACLS for healthcare providers. PALS within three months of hire date or transfer to the ICU. 
Language Requirements: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
 Registered Nurse OB Nights
Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
Work Experience: Six months recent experience in labor and delivery unit preferable with adequate number of deliveries to ensure competence in all areas of labor, delivery, post-partum and newborn care. 
Skills Requirements: Knowledge of high-risk labor/delivery, neonatal and post-partum management. All new hires will within 3 months have completed the APS Perinatal Safety curriculum or other comparable contents coursework endorsed by ACOG or AAWHONN. 
EXCEPTION: RNs hired for L&D training will preferably have a basic fetal monitor class. By 6 months an Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN Fetal Monitor Certificate is required. 
Licensing Requirements: Current California RN License, Current AHA BLS, Current NRP, Current ACLS desirable, Current S.T.A.B.L.E. desirable, Current Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certificate, (within 6 months of hire or transfer to OB Department)
Physician Assistant
Education:  Training at an Accredited Physician Assistant Program
Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year acute care experience within the past two years, Six months recent experience in Emergency Room desirable.
Licensing Requirements:  Current California Physician Assistant License (PA) Current National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Current AHA BLS or ACLS
Radiologic Technologist
Work Experience: Experience in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology CT experience is preferred Demonstrated competence in all areas of hospital diagnostic radiological technology procedures.
 Licensing Requirements:  Current State of California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology license – required Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification – required Current ARRT certification and registration – required California Venipuncture Certificate – within 3 months of signing job description California Fluoroscopy Certificate – within 6 months of signing job description.

 Surgical Tech

Education: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) – required. Graduate of an approved surgical technologist or military equivalent program – required.
 Work Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience within the last three (3) years’ operating room scrubbing or equivalent military experience, including a variety of surgical procedures. Or Experience requirements may be waived or modified when an appropriate program or course is available and successfully completed. 
Licensing/Certification Requirements:Current AHA BLS – required. Certification in Surgical Technology – strongly preferred.
