Market Recruiter needed in IN/KY

Midsize hospital located in Southern Indiana, very close to Louisville, KY, has a need for a Healthcare Market Recruiter to join their team.

 

 

Candidates MUST have hospital experience in recruitment.

 

 

You will be working with 2 hospitals that are close by.

 

 

You must be able to work onsite at least 1-2 days a week and the rest can be done from home.
 

The Market Recruiter, serves as a partner to the Facility HRD’s and other leadership team members, and is responsible for ensuring objectivity, compliance, consistency and fairness for candidates and employees while supporting the Mission, Vision and Core Values of the company.

 
The Market Recruiter is responsible for developing (with the HRBP and local facility leadership) regional staffing, recruiting, development, and retention programs for all clinical positions.

 

These programs are focused on materially improving each facilities quality scores, patient experience, productivity, culture and financial performance by improving their ability to recruit, retain and develop the right clinical staff and leadership, at the right levels, time and place.

 
The Market Recruiter will have a dual reporting to the HSC Recruiting division and the hospital HRD.

 

 
General Responsibilities:

 
Market Recruiting Programs:

 

 

Works with the respective facilities to develop a recruiting strategy that includes identifying by geographic area the best channels for obtaining clinical and non clinical talent.

 

 
Manages and directs all core recruiting activities within the respective channels, including position control.

 

 

Ensures that recruiting and compensation structures are consistent across the Market.

 

 
Performs daily recruiting activities to include sourcing, interviewing, following up on selections and declines; must use existing technology to obtain highest applicant flow possible and assure HR metrics around recruiting are visible and detectable.

 

 
Nursing / Clinical Program Alliances:

 

 

Participates in the development of additional regional relationships with various Nursing Programs so that the hospital is the employer of choice for all graduates.

 

 

This includes the development of internships and tuition reimbursement programs, along with the introduction of continuing education programs for faculty members.

 

 
Staffing Programs:

 

 

Based on traditional demand measures and analytics, guides the development of regional staffing pools that enable the hospital to address unexpected turnover and surges in demand more effectively.

 

 

These efforts are focused on the most critical clinical areas where there is a sufficient ability to forecast demand and staffing pool demands.

 

 
Employee Retention (Career Progression and Continuing Education):

 

 

Supports the local HRD and facility leadership in developing comprehensive and cohesive retention programs that are consistent across the region and that significantly reduce unwanted turnover.

 

 
Minimum Qualifications:

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

 
Certified Health Care Recruiter designation preferred

 
3-5 years of health care recruitment

 
Significant experience combining clinical process re-design efforts with manpower planning and development.

 
Preferred experience in developing for a healthcare system staffing models (analytics), then demand programs that measurably improve a healthcare systems ability to match current and future manpower needs with available resources.

 
Proven ability to impact employee turnover through the creation and deployment of career progressions systems that encompass compensation plans, skills matrix, career ladders, etc.

 
Managed the creation of clinical education programs, including development of the core.

 
Working knowledge of federal and state employment law

 
Ability to communicate with employees at all levels (both verbal and written communication skills)

 
Good computer skills including experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems;

Ability to develop spreadsheets and reports to analyze market staffing needs
