Clinical Lab Scientist – FULL TIME

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a field of Lab Science preferred. Work Experience: Twelve months as a trainee required; 1-3 years’ experience desirable. Skill Requirements: Proficiency in the routine work of all laboratory departments is required; expanded knowledge and interest in one or more areas is desirable. Licensing Requirements: A current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license is mandatory; a license from a National Registry is desirable. Language Requirements: Ability to understand English. Spanish language skills are helpful.

Manager: ED & RT – FULL TIME

Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing. Work Experience: Minimum two years progressive experience in Emergency Room. Knowledge of legal aspects of Emergency Room nursing. Knowledge of Emergency Room techniques and management. Licensing Requirements: Current California RN license – required, Current AHA BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications – required. Board certification in emergency services – preferred.

Manager: Surgery- FULL TIME

Education: Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing – required. Bachelor degree or equivalent – required. CNOR – preferred. Work Experience: Minimum of (5) years nursing experience – required. Previous supervisory or management experience – preferred. Licensing Requirements: Current California RN license – required. Current AHA BLS – required. Current AHA ACLS – within 90 days of hire or transfer to unit. Current AHA PALS – within 90 days of hire or transfer to unit. Must have a firm understanding of implementing change.

Employee Health Nurse – FULL TIME

Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing – required, BSN – required Masters – preferred. Skills Requirements: Ability to perform comprehensive physical exams and documents accordingly. Able to communicate and problem solve effectively. Knowledge of personnel policies and state/federal guidelines. Ability to interact courteously and tactfully with staff, visitors, vendors and the general public. Licensing/Certification: Current California Registered Nurse license – required American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate – required Work Experience: Minimum of two years in acute care setting – required Previous experience in employee health or occupational health – preferred.

Family Nurse Practitioner – FULL TIME

Education: Completion of Accredited Nurse Practitioner program Skill Requirements Ability to communicate effectively Licensing Requirements: Current License as Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner with the Board of Registered Nursing in the State of California. Successful completion of an accredited nurse practitioner program of study which conforms with the Board’s educational standards set forth in the California Code of Regulations Section 1484 for California graduates only (Or) Current certification by one of the following boards: the American Nurses Credentialing Center or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or Pediatric Nursing Certification Board or National Certification. Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Nursing Specialties, or American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. Current AHA BLS certified. Current AHA ACLS certified (if submitting privileges for inpatient setting).

 

Manager: Infection Prevention – FULL TIME

Education: Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) Or Clinical Laboratory Scientists (CLS) Licensing/Certification: Current California Registered Nurse license Or Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist license. Certification in Infection Prevention (CIC) required. American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate.

Manager: Pharmacy – FULL TIME

Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Pharmacy preferred. Skill Requirements Experience in acute care hospital or ambulatory pharmacy, including pharmacy management/supervision and management education beyond that required for clinical registration is preferred. Licensing Requirements: Current license as a Registered Pharmacist in good standing by the State of California.

Physical Therapist – FULL TIME

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Skill Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively. Licensing Requirements: Current CA Physical Therapist License

Physician Assistant – FULL TIME

Education: Training at an Accredited Physician Assistant Program Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year acute care experience within the past two years, Six months recent experience in Emergency Room desirable.
Licensing Requirements: Current California Physician Assistant License (PA) Current National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Current AHA BLS or ACLS

Registered Nurse ER-FULL TIME NIGHTS

Education: Associates degree in Nursing preferred. Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year acute care experience within the past two years, Six months recent experience in Emergency Room desirable.
Licensing Requirements: Current California RN License, Current BLS for healthcare providers, PALS, & ACLS, CEN and NRP Preferred

Registered Nurse ICU- FULL TIME NIGHTS

Education: Graduates of an Accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. Work Experience: Minimum of one year acute care experience within the past two years. Six months recent experience in critical care is desirable. Licensing Requirements: Current California RN License. Current BLS and ACLS for healthcare providers. PALS within three months of hire date or transfer to the ICU. Language Requirements: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Registered Nurse OB – FULL TIME NIGHTS

Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing. Work Experience: Six months recent experience in labor and delivery unit preferable with adequate number of deliveries to ensure competence in all areas of labor, delivery, post-partum and newborn care. Skills Requirements: Knowledge of high-risk labor/delivery, neonatal and post-partum management. All new hires will within 3 months have completed the APS Perinatal Safety curriculum or other comparable contents coursework endorsed by ACOG or AAWHONN. EXCEPTION: RNs hired for L&D training will preferably have a basic fetal monitor class. By 6 months an Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN Fetal Monitor Certificate is required. Licensing Requirements: Current California RN License, Current AHA BLS, Current NRP, Current ACLS desirable, Current S.T.A.B.L.E. desirable, Current Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certificate, (within 6 months of hire or transfer to OB Department)

Registered Nurse Surgery – FULL TIME

Education: Graduates of an Accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. Work Experience: Minimum of one year recent experience as operating room nurse is preferred.
Licensing Requirements: Current California RN License. Current BLS and ACLS for healthcare providers. PALS within three months of hire date.
