Neonatology Service Line Director job, CA

non-clinical – business development focused.

We are working with a highly respected Magnet Southern CA Hospital; 200+beds, affiliated with a University system looking for a Neonatology Service Line Director. Reporting to the Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, the Service Line Director, Neonatology leads together with the Medical Director, the Institute Leadership Team and medical staff to assure the organization a long-term position of strength and prominence in the region’s healthcare marketplace. Responsible for a range of activities to include business planning, community and marketing events and activities, product/service line development, physician relations and practice/business development.

Qualifications Required:

Seven years of experience in a management/leadership position with experience in strategic planning, marketing, market research and community/business development activities in support of a large, managed care oriented, complex healthcare organization.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management or related field. A clinical degree is acceptable with appropriate experience in marketing and/or business development.

Master’s degree preferred.

Ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards; care with sensitivity and respect; advance care through development of new ideas and technology; promote teamwork to achieve.

Advanced computer skills – Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access).

Exceptional facilitation and consensus-building skills. Strong management skills.

Has a mentoring and coaching style of management. Possesses excellent numerical and analytical skills. Savvy regarding assessing business development opportunities with an eye for maximizing benefits. Innovative problem-solving ability. Solid record of accomplishment of well thought-out business/program development initiatives resulting in tangible market share/revenue growth.

Salary range: 155k-190k, 10% annual bonus program + relocation assistance
