New Endoscopy Manager job,, Hawaii


Endoscopy is a 5 procedure room, 1 out patient testing room unit which provides Endoscopic services for routinely scheduled inpatient and outpatient procedures, and urgent add-on procedures. The average number of procedures is 20-30/day.

Endoscopy provides care for majority of an adult population.

Endoscopy provides outpatient and inpatient services for pediatrics to adult patients over 18 years.

The most frequent diagnoses are pain, bleeding, polyps, abnormal lab value, common bile duct stones, dysphagia, and pulmonary infiltrate.

Procedures are particular to this area include:

EGC (Esophagogastricduodenoscopy)


ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio Pancreatogram)



24 hour pH studies

24 hour pH studies – Bravo capsule



Endoscopic Ultrasound

Patients in the Endoscopy Department may require Moderate-Deep Sedation monitoring. There is a cardiac monitoring capability for specific patients. Patients requiring higher level of care (Intensive Care Unit) may be treated at the bedside for care.


Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
.  Master’s degree preferred.
.  Current Hawaii license as Registered Nurse.
.  Evidence of continuing education.
.  Current BLS/HCP certification.

.  Minimum five (5) years progressive experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care facility of which at least three (3) years have been in a leadership capacity demonstrating the ability to manage assigned areas effectively.
.  Prior management/supervisory experience highly preferred.
