Administrative Director of Surgery
New 15 Stryker Integrated OR suites (2 are hybrid Ors connected to MRI and Neuro Vascular)
Oversee OR, PACU, PPSU, Eye Center and Endoscopy.
RN, CNOR and BSN required. Masters preferred, along with 5 years of surgical services administrative services in a comparable size acute care facilty.
Oversee OR (15 suites), patient care services, daily operations of the department, staffing, policies, budgets and planning.
Will report to Administrator Director of Surgery.
RN, BSN, CNOR preferred
RN with BSN preferred but not required.
Will be responsible for OR training and orientation.
This is a Monday-Friday day shift, no call back or overtime.
Ideal candidate will have both clinical and education experience in the OR and knowledge of Microsoft and EPIC software programs.

Ortho Perioperative Assistant Nurse Manager
Large hospital system in the Bay Area! Oath Periop Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for assisting the nurse manager with all aspects of the operation, including but not limited to 1) recruiting, selecting, hiring and training staff, coaching and counseling, and completion of performance evaluations 2) assuring compliance with all regulatory and patient safety goals, 3) developing and implementing policies and procedures that assure a high level of quality care, 4) financial and budgetary aspects of the department, including revenue capture and expense control 5) supports performance improvement initiatives and 6) maintains close working relationship with the Orthopaedic practices and supportive services to ensure alignment of goals that meet patient safety and service standards.
Requirement: CA RN, BSN, 3 years experience in Perioperative services.
Regional health system in Oregon is looking for an OR Manager. Hospital is not-for-profit, 300+beds with over 15+OR’s.
The OR Nurse Manager accountability with responsibility to manage the day-to-day clinical operations in a fiscally responsive manner, ensuring that resources, including equipment, instrumentation, and supplies are available for the surgical procedures. Scope of responsibility includes, but is not limited to, patient safety and satisfaction, staff competency and education, performance improvement, budgeting, personnel development and management, and physician relations. Works collaboratively and proactively with staff, physicians, other Surgical Services units and hospital departments to facilitate and improve patient services. Serves as a professional leader and a management representative of Surgical Services on hospital-wide committees and initiatives including support of the magnet journey. Assists the Director on specific projects and other duties as assigned, including organizational strategies, system priorities and overall health care trends. Provides direct patient care as needed (primarily break and lunch reliefs).
Minimum Qualifications Include:
Requires BSN, Master’s Degree preferred. Bachelor of Arts in Nursing also accepted. Will consider non-nursing Bachelor’s Degree with MSN.
Three (3) years minimum acute care RN experience required.
Two (2) years of progressive management experience required.
Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required or eligible for licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon.
Requires AONE or ANCC Nurse Executive Certification within one year of eligibility.
BLS issued by the American Heart Association required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Include:

Nurse Manager, Operating Room – Interim to Perm will be consider.
Will manage 18-suite Main OR with procedural rooms and robust Da Vinci Robot program (1000 cases/year). Oversees 150+ FTE with assistance from 2 Clinical Ops Managers. Must have 3-5 years of strong OR management and MD relations skills. Need candidates to be able to scrub and circulate – we require this of the staff, so manager must do, as well. MUST HAVE BSN. MSN is preferred.
