ICU Director Career Opportunity in Southern California

ICU Director career opportunity located in San Diego, California.

We are helping a 100+hospital in the San Diego market who’s looking for an ICU Director to join their team.

Here are some detail about the position:

Reports to the CNO
Is an exempt position with 24/7 responsibility
Oversight of approximately 110 FTEs
Director
Clinical Supervisors
RNs
Patient Care Techs
Shares a Clinical Educator with the ED
Types of patients- Medical, Cardiac, Neuro.
Clinical skills needed- General ICU exp. required, preferred experienced in the categories listed above
Must have strong provider communication and relationship building skills
 Multiple committees this person is on and chairs.
Must work well/ collaboratively with the hospital leadership, especially Nursing/Quality/Risk

EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree required, BSN preferred
Master’s degree preferred
Minimum five years clinical experience in ICU as a Registered Nurse required
Minimum three years’ experience acute care nursing leadership in ICU/Critical Care required

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
Current license to practice professional nursing (RN) in the State of California
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association
Specialty Certification preferred

Salary range: 150k-210k  plus relocation assistance provided.
