Responsibilities:

The Director of Emergency Department oversees the daily operations of Hospital’s ED. Responsible for leading, organizing, and developing the people and programs in areas of responsibility to accomplish the goals and mission of the organization and to assure that hospital remains as a leader in regional health care delivery. Position requires extensive decision-making abilities under pressure, along with a calm professional demeanor. 

Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing

Minimum of Bachelor of Science degree and/or experience commensurate with area of responsibility.

Leadership experience with excellent organization and communication skills

Ability to develop productive working relationships and possess conflict management skills.

Flexible 

BLS, ACLS, TNCC, CPI, PALS, Hazmat certification or willing to obtain upon hire

Schedule:

Salaried 80+ hours a pay period

The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department.
