Director of SEC (external financial reporting) job opening located in Texas.
Newly-created corporate position; prepares and files all financial-related reports issued to external parties including US SEC, option reports filed with state agencies or prepared at request of joint venture partners and benefit plan financial statements; responsible for 302 subcertification process unther SOA; serves as technical accounting guidance and implementation of new authoritative guidance;
Reports to Corporate CFO; healthcare experience a plus; no reports at this time; CPA and BS in accounting required, Master’s a plus; 7 years of exp in US GAAP, SEC accounting and FASB reporting issues; prior Big 4 exp preferred
