About the Hospital: The Medical Center is a Joint Commission accredited 400-bed hospital that builds on a proud tradition of healthcare excellence in Osceola County, Florida. They are committed to continually enhancing the standard of healthcare by providing services to include: Emergency Care, Trauma Care, Pediatric ER, Heart & Vascular Institute, Comprehensive Stroke Center, The Baby Suites maternity care, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Level II, Women’s Services, Behavioral Health, Orthopedics & Spine and a Graduate Medical Education Program. The Medical Center plans to expand their care to the community with a freestanding Emergency Center.
We are searching for a Director of Women’s Services to oversee all operations of the Baby Suite maternity care, Neonatal, Intensive Care Unit Level ll, and Women’s Services. Our ideal candidate would be a strong leader, someone who communicates well, is transparent with staff, can groom managers, demonstrates excellence, etc.
Experience:
5+ years Manager level exp or 1+ years Dir level exp at similar size hospital. Experience in L&D, NICU, ante-partum, and post-partum
MUST BE A RN with BSN
- 400+ bed hospital (and growing, lots of construction already happening to expand)
- Oversight of 25 beds total, about 40 direct reports (2 managers, several Charge RN, plus staff level employees)
There is 1 Manager over NICU, and 1 Manager over L&D/ante/post-partum.
