Pharmacy Manager job opening located in Texas.
Growing Hospital 30 minutes north of Houston is seeking a Pharmacy Manager.
- 350+ bed hospital
- Incentive program – 25% target; 30% total payout upon meeting metrics
Candidate Requirements:
- Demonstrated leadership experience in an acute care setting.
- PharmD
- 5+ years managing/leading a team of 20 plus employees
- Acute care pharmacy operations experience is required (retail is not a fit for this position)
- Experience managing budget is a plus
- Pharmacy Operations experience in an academic medical center would be great
- Knowledge of unit dose and IV additives required
- Requires knowledge of pharmacy and hospital computer systems and computer-assisted devices and familiarity with health care reimbursement environment
- Pharmacy Sterile Product certification
