ICU/ER Director Job Opening in Wyoming

ICU/ER Director job opening located in Wyoming.

Two smaller hospitals located in beautiful WY, about 3 hrs from Jackson, has a need for a Director of Critical Care and ER to join their team. 

To provide clinical practice leadership for the operation of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Emergency Department (ED) within the 2 hospitals, equaling just over 200 beds. To direct clinical practice, coordinate patient service delivery, educate and develop staff, control budget(s) and manage the work environment. To serve as a resource for interdisciplinary divisions within the hospital.

Job Requirements

Required Licenses

Must hold current active Wyoming RN license or compact equivalent.

Minimum Work Experience

Minimum 5 years’ progressive leadership and managerial experience. Prior operational and supervisory experience within a complex medical center preferred.

Required Skills

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association

Current ACLS certification

Current PALS or ENPC 

Current NRP 

Current TNCC

Handle with Care training within first 30 days of employment

Minimum Education

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience

Master’s Degree in a related discipline preferred.
