RN Crisis Stabilization Manager job opening located in Georgia.
84+ bed Behavioral Health hospital in GA, located about 2.5 hrs south of Atlanta, has a need for an experienced Crisis Stabilization Manager to join their team. The Manager will oversee 36 FTEs on this 24 bed crisis unit which also has 6 observation chairs. They are looking for an organized Manager with experience in Psych. This is a very busy unit and they need someone who can handle the stress that will come with this position. It is a Mon-Fri day shift position with on call rotation. It’s a salaried position and you should expect to work 40-45 hours a week. They do have House Supervisors onsite as well.
Responsible for assessing, planning, managing and evaluating the delivery of nursing care within a clinical psychiatric facility, and the supervision and management of all nursing personnel in the unit. Supervise and ensure the nursing and clinical care services are provided to patients in accordance with hospital and accreditation standards of care for an acute inpatient psychiatric program. Responsible for the provision of a safe and therapeutic environment for patient populations.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Required
Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Handle with Care Certification or CPI within 90 days of hire
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Licenses
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Georgia.
