Social Worker – Director of Youth Services Job Opening in Ohio

Job opening for a Social Worker – Director of Youth Services located in Ohio.

A community based mental and behavioral health agency located 30 mins Northeast of Dayton, is looking to add to their Clinical Management Team with a Director of Youth Specialty Services, which will have responsibility for all youth programs in both two of their locations. As Director, you will be responsible for the administration of the child, adolescent and family programs for all of the company, including the school based therapy programs. You will provide leadership for all therapeutic teams in the youth programs, using evidence based programming whenever possible to resolve mental health, substance abuse, behavioral and emotional problems.  In addition, the Director of Youth Services develops and expands youth services to meet the needs of our communities and partnering youth serving agencies. 

As a member of the Leadership Team, you will provide valuable insight to our teams, including quality, performance improvement, safety, supervision and act as a mentor to therapists working to obtain independent status. 

The Director will be supervising appx. 8-10 therapists and 4-6 mental health technicians.  You will need to travel between locations but not daily as there are only a few staff working at the second location.

Candidates must have:

• Master’s in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology (required)
• LISW/LPCC licensed in the State of Ohio
• 3-5 Years’ management or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Joint Commission, federal and state (Ohio) regulations and standards
• CPR/First Aid (Will be provided upon hire)
• NVCI/CPI (Will be provided upon hire)
