Job opening for a Medical Director (MD/DO) – Primary Care/Behavioral Health located in Upstate New York.
Summary:
Oversight of the hospitals’ behavioral health and primary care integration effort, informed by SAMSHA’s Bi-Directional Integration Model. Responsible for clinical supervision and mentorship of Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Social Workers and other health care personnel within Family Health Center.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited AMA/AACOM approved medical school
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Psychiatry with verified designated Training
- 3+ years of experience
- Current or Eligible for a New York State Medical License
Hospital is 30 miles north of Watertown and 100 miles north of Syracuse. Area is quite pretty, called the 1000 Islands region.
