Job opening for a Director of Finance for Health Plans in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
General Job Duties, Responsibilities, Expectations:
Director of Finance position is an integral part of the finance operation of the health plan. The position supervises a department of 20 employees, of which 3 are managers and the remainder are staff. This position will have daily interactions and collaborations with other departments of the health plan, including Pharmacy, Clinical, IT, Claims Adjudication, Provider Contracting, Actuarial, Client Services and others. In addition, frequent interactions will occur with Corporate Accounting department and also with the health system delivery side of the business. As such, the position offers high growth potential, due to the wide variety of tasks and challenges. All which occur in a positive, supportive environment.
Required Skills and Minimum Years of Experience:
- 5 years management experience in the health industry (required)
- CPA (required)
- Bachelors in Accounting (required)
- Masters (strongly preferred)
Number of FTE’s Responsible For:
2 Managers, 2 Accountants, 2 Billing and 1 Auditor.
