Risk Management Director Opening in NC

A 100+ bed hospital located in NC, has a need for an experienced Director of Risk Management/Compliance Officer to join their team.

 

The selected applicant will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for the administrative and operational management of the risk management program.

 

The position ensures management, staff, volunteers, and the Board of Directors are in compliance with regulations of regulatory agencies, hospital policies and standards of conduct.

 

Responsible for coordination of regulatory compliance for JCAHO standards, CMS standards and NCDFSS standards.

 

Supports the mission, vision, values and strategic initiatives of the Medical Center.

 

Requirements:

 

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.

 

Master’s degree in a health-related field preferred.

 

Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) required.

 

Certified Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.

 

3+ years experience in Risk Management

 

Excellent organizational, research and presentation skills.
