A large hospital in NC has a need for an experience NURSING Director of Heart Center Operations to join their team.
The Director of Heart Center Operations is responsible for administrative management including quality outcomes, unsurpassed service, workforce excellence, market growth and fiscal responsibility outcomes for assigned areas in Heart and Vascular services.
Position is accountable for the integration of the hospital’s Mission, vision and values into the performance of all assigned areas of responsibilities.
She/he integrates decentralized concepts with the overall plan for the division of nursing care at the Medical Center.
Works with the VP Heart and Vascular Services in collaboration with CV administration, customers, hospital administration, medical staff, peers, and colleagues to fulfill job responsibilities and achieve Heart and Vascular service line goals and objectives.
The Director will work closely with VP Heart and Vascular Services, medical staff and supervisory staff in providing guidance on staffing, management, organization and planning for the delivery of cardiovascular services.
Education: Bachelor’s and Master’s degree required. One degree must be in Nursing.
Experience: Three (3) years clinical experience in related area required.
Two (2) years management experience in critical care nursing or cardiovascular related areas required.
Five (5) years clinical experience in related area preferred.
Three (3) years management experience in critical care nursing or cardiovascular related areas preferred.
Licensure/Credentials: RN in the State of NC.
