Master’s in Nursing, Healthcare Admin or similar; if master’s is non-nursing, BSN required; certification in clinical specialty or nursing admin or certified nurse leader preferred

VP of Cardiology/Imaging Services position in the  Southeast:



900-1000 beds; over all cath labs, international, recovery, specialty clinics, special procedures, PI; Master’s mandatory; reports to system COO:

8-10 years of experience in similar setting with hospital related physician practice

Development of comprehensive quality and/or PI program, directs and coordinates quality and/or PI initiatives;

Participates in development, education, monitoring, reporting and improvement of activities related to hospital guidelines, National Patient Safety Goals, accreditation standards, etc


Works with external agencies and stakeholders related to quality/PI; oversees investigation and reporting of events as required by regulatory agencies and serves as liaison in PI efforts related to medical safety;


Collaborates to investigate care concerns;


Maintains PI data that facilitates identification of trends and leads efforts to improve outcomes through proactive management of key outcomes metrics;

Operations Manager of Quality & Safety position in California:

Guides job performance of department staff on day-to-day basis including developing, conducting and reporting program audits; collecting, analyzing, and reporting data; developing and implementing quality improvement efforts; researching best practices and evidence-based practices and participating in program evaluation; Quality assurance and improvement, PI and technology savvy skills are most important aspects;


RN preferred


Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Healthcare or related field, or equivalent education and experience


Master’s and CPHQ and/or CPPS certification


3 years’ progressive leadership or supervisory exp; knowledge of operational characteristics, services and activities of a quality management program; function independently with minimal supervision required with demonstrated ability to efficiently manage time; analytical, written and verbal communication skills; experience in Infection Control and/or accreditation and license activities;


Membership in a professional society that enhance quality, patient safety, risk management or technical or management advancement (ACHE)

Medical Staff Services Department Manager position in California:


400+ bed not for profit hospital in great location;


BS, Business Administration


Healthcare or equivalent training


5 years’ exp within Med Staff Services and one year of management exp; completion of medical terminology course or willing to complete course; current certification by National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) is required upon hire;


Handle sensitive information confidentially


Responsible for medical-admin and medical-legal aspects of Med Staff organization; possesses fundamental knowledge to function within department context; establish and maintain continuity in planning, development and implementation of standards applicable to Med Staff Members and Allied Health Professionals relating to appointment, credentialing and organized Med Staff activities; monitors site-specific Med Staff Bylaws/Rules & Regs, and makes recommendations for revisions to keep them current and in compliance with state and federal standards and regs, as well as reflective of current practice at each site; supervise personnel and provide oversight for Department/Committee meetings, credentialing activities, continuing medical education, and investigation studies (as appropriate), in accordance with FDA, and in compliance with applicable TJC Standards, IMQ (Institute for Medical Quality), CMS (Centers for Medicare/Medicaid), CDPH (CA Dept of Public Health) standards regarding pertinent Title 22 regs
