Reports to CNO
Total of 396 FTE’s, 7 admin’s, 72 in NICU, 118 in Mother/Baby, 10 in Lactation, 2 nurse navigators, 54 in Infants, Maternal Fetal Clinic-5.
They are a Level III NICU, 5400 births/year
28 bed L&D
5 PACU
8 triage
28 bed all private NICU
43 Mother Baby
4 OB Hospitalist who are employees of hospital , 24 total
Someone with Director level experience, used to high volume, at least 300+ per month is required.
Goal and Objectives is to mentor leadership, reduce turnover and improve financial efficiency.
Qualifications:
Directs the ongoing effective operations of a progressive program with over 5,000 deliveries per year, including the following departments:
Labor & Delivery
Mother-Baby
Well Baby Nursery
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Maternal Fetal Specialist Clinic
Parent Education
Lactation Services
OB Hospitals, and Infant Development Center.
Participates in planning, development and implementation of organizational strategic initiatives related to the Birth Center and Children’s Services.
Promotes the service line to internal and external customers.
Establishes collaborative relationships with physicians.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
Master’s preferred
Minimum of 5 Years Position-Related Leadership Experience
