A Director of Nursingis needed in the San Luis Obispo area. Gorgeous area and relaxed lifestyle – beach within minutes of facility.

CA RN, BSN (preferred). DON is responsible for OR clinical duties and administration (50/50). Average case load: 122, multi-speciality. Heavy in ortho, general surgery cases. 15 part-time staff and 5 FTE’s reporting to position. Solid staff in place. DON is responsible for policies and procedures, QA, compliance issues, board meetings, scheduling/hiring, need someone with strong nursing skills. Amazing community environment, more of a small family feel. Very supportive atmosphere with team leaders in place.
