167 Bed Facility

Experience:                 3-5 years exp. at Director level

Education:                   Registered Nurse – Texas licensed

BSN required, Masters preferred

Salary:                         $95K – $105K  doe

Comments:     Director of Surgical Services: manages 45 FTEs in OR, PACU, Day Surgery, & Central Sterile.  Anesthesia is third party provider.  Robust orthopedics program with total joint replacement modeled after Marshall Steele’s program.  We have a new group of 3 Cardiac surgeons starting this month that will be providing more advanced procedures than we have done here before.  Typical volume is 350 – 450 procedures/month.

• Cardiothoracic surgery, including open heart surgery
• Colon and rectal surgery
• Cosmetic and reconstructive surgery
• General surgery
• Gastrointestinal (GI) procedures
• Kidney stone surgery
• Laparoscopic surgery, including laparoscopic cholecystectomy
• Oral and maxillofacial surgery
• Orthopedic surgery, including joint replacement
• Otolaryngology (ear, nose, throat)
• Surgical oncology, including stereotactic breast biopsy
• Urological surgery
• Vascular surgery
• 167-bed facility and are a licensed Level III Trauma unit. The only hospital in the region to receive national certification in joint replacement from the Joint Commission.
