A 100 +-bed hospital located in Central Oregon. The hospital provides a broad range of services, including Intensive Care/Coronary Care, Pulmonary Medicine, Oncology, Da Vinci Technology Surgery, CT Scan, MRI, Maternity, Reproductive Services, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Rehabilitation and a 24-Hour Emergency Department that is a designated Level III Trauma Center.
The Pharmacy Director directs, establishes, and plans the overall policies and goals for a hospital’s pharmacy services. Maintains contact with other department heads, medical staff, and nursing staff to determine needs, resolve problems, improve processes and promote effective drug therapy. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.
Qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s degree and/or an advanced degree in pharmacy and ability to obtain pharmacy license in the state of Oregon with at least 5 years of clinical hospital experience,and at least 2 + years of hospital pharmacy leadership experience.
