Billing Manager job, WA

A wonderful FQHC clinic in WA, near Kennewick, has a need for an experienced Billing Manager to join their growing team. They will supervise a staff of 10, but please note we are in a growth mode so they will more than likely have more staff under them.

The Billing Manager is responsible for the management and administration Billing Department to ensure that it meets all State and Federal guidelines. This person must ensure the efficiency of the department, handle routine personnel matters, set departmental goals, and perform various administrative tasks.

Minimum Education:

Associates Degree (Bachelor’s Degree Preferred)

Minimum Work Experience

Must have at least five years of progressive experience in billing, accounts receivable, CPT and ICD-9 coding, or equivalent applicable education with experience.

Experience in a health care setting.

Experience with practice management system

Successful Supervisory experience of at least 2 years

Required Licenses/Certifications

Certification in Billing/Coding

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Experience with a practice management system; knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and third-party billing procedures; CPT and ICD coding.
