Director of Human Resources, Midwest: not for profit hospital, under 100 beds; reports to CEO; planning, organizing, and leading all aspects of HR services including recruiting, staffing, absence management, compensation, benefits, and employee relations, and workplace programs; develops, organizes, implements, and supervises human resources services designed to address and resolve employee and employer concerns; manages day-to-day human resources activities in HR department; consults with management staff regarding human resources needs and issues and provides training on supervisory skills and related hospital policies and procedures; ensures compliance with local, state and national regulatory requirements; BS/BA with emphasis on HR/Personnel Admin; 5 years’ exp. in acute care hospital setting; knowledge of health and welfare benefits administration; strong working knowledge of state and federal laws related to policies, procedures and laws concerning benefits, as well as other HR areas including recruitment, placement, separation, employee relations, and investigative procedures; SPHR or PHR preferred; Advanced computer skills; HRIS systems experience, including report generation; salary $105-110k.
