135 bed facility Responsible for managing hospital wide and medical staff quality review processes. Duties include abstracting quality data from the medical record, including but not limited to, medical staff quality indicators, surgical case/invasive procedure review, blood usage review, mortality review, special targeted studies/research and complications review in accordance with QI standards and procedures. Manages the medical staff peer review process. Minimum Education Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or other relevant field Registered Nurse preferred, RABQSA preferred, or other relevant licensure or certification will be considered. Minimum Work Experience: Desirable characteristics include a working knowledge of Quality Improvement principles and Health Information Management. Must possess a positive working relationship with the Medical Staff, Department Leaders and Hospital Staff throughout the facility and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be capable of working independently and autonomously. Working of computer systems, Excel, Health Information Management, and statistics. Must be able to function effectively under stressful conditions and be able to meet deadlines timely.
