Director of Information Technology, Southwest: 300-bed profit hospital in rural location; reports to CFO and Corporate CIO; senior leader of IT on site; support hospital IT on daily basis; oversight of local IT staff; supporting and maintaining local systems and technology capabilities including desktops, local network, applications and voice solutions; liaison between hospital and Corporate IT Functions, advocating needs identified at hospital level; ensuring operational metrics are being properly managed; adheres to a structured IT Governance process for prioritization, support and project management; responsible for physician education and satisfaction as well as physician office integration with IT systems; keeps abreast with new and emerging trends in the industry; BS min in IT or Healthcare, Master’s preferred; 4 years’ management in hospital IT; familiarity with Cerner, MEDHOST, MediTech and other core healthcare application platforms a plus; solid grasp of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and Meaningful Use; salary $100-105k plus small bonus potential and relo up to 10k.  

Director of Case Management, Southwest: 300 bed profit hospital; BSN minimum, master’s preferred; reports to COO; responsible for coordination and direction of all utilization management activities to support and implement goals of utilization management program and plan; maintains oversight responsibility for review of all usage patterns for medical necessity and appropriateness of care against screening criteria and for infection control, quality and risk assessment documenting same in computerized database; responsible for authorization of appropriate services; inputs authorizations and utilizes utilization management component of computer system; coordinates discharge planning function in conjunction with discharge planner/social worker, assist Quality Management Coordinator and Risk Manager with screening, investigation and problem solving as needed; assists medical director with all utilization activities as requested and directed; prepares agenda and meeting packet for Utilization Management Committee and documents summary of meeting in committee minute format; responsible for education on and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols; coordination and presentation of utilization management program for all HMO due diligence and routine utilization management audits; directs CQI activities and performance improvement activities within department; 3 years’ utilization management exp in managed care environment preferred; 5 years’ exp in acute care setting; salary $80-100k plus bonus potential and relo assistance.  

Patient Business Services Director, Southwest: 300 bed profit hospital; Bachelor’s min, 5 years of exp in acute care hospital business office functions; ability to work with physicians collaboratively; high level of business computer applications and excellent customer service; responsible for facilitating all revenue cycle functions; ensures that all patients are promptly and accurately registered and data is communicated to appropriate areas; monitors overall collection functions from third party payers and patients to maximize cash flow and reimbursement; coordinates managed care contract negotiations, contract financial performance analysis and payer contract compliance; ensures proper internal hospital communication services (PBX) are provided to allow daily operations to function well; coordinates work process flows between patient financial staff and ancillary personnel to provide courteous customer service; knowledge of TJC and state regulations regarding billing and collection guidelines; ensures process issues are evaluated for compliance with hospital policy and initiates performance improvement as indicated; addresses complaints regarding Patient Business Services related functions and follows through with resolutions to prevent recurrences; interfaces directly with the CFO concerning operational obstacles; assures adequate, yet conservative staffing; responsible for managing operational costs based on budget constraints; approves personnel functions related to hiring, termination, and disciplinary actions; responsible for department’s performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Case Manager Supervisor, Florida: 300-bed not for profit, tobacco free hospital; Bachelor’s min, RN mandatory; CCM preferred; 5 years’ experience preferred in acute care setting; salary $30-44/hr

 RN Case Manager, Florida: 300-bed not for profit, tobacco free hospital; variable shifts; BSN preferred, CCM preferred; 5 years’ experience preferred in acute care; salary $25/36/hr.   

Utilization Review Coordinator, Florida: 300 bed hospital; no reports; reports to Dir of PFS; BS and RN min; Min of 5 years’ clinical exp; knowledge of UM, PI, reimbursement issues; UR, CM, appeals, denials, managed care contracting exp preferred; responsible for determining appropriateness of hospital admission; utilization of resources and medical necessity for continued stay; facilitates timely discharge; assures medical documentation accurately reflects severity of illness; provides appropriate interventions and discharge planning services to patients and families in collaboration with CM; oversee gathering of required clinical information and reports to insurance company’s regarding patient’s progress and plan to receive authorization for continued stay; confirms payor authorization and timely submits request for additional information; review post discharge, pre-bill accounts that do not have an authorization on file, LOS versus days authorized variances, and/or other account discrepancies that will result in account being denied by payor that require clinical expertise; communicates with third party payors to resolve discrepancies prior to billing; analytical thinking, problem solving and excellent communication skills; knowledge of on-line PFS Data System and Applications; salary $53-64k.

Senior Network Administrator/Engineer, System, Florida: no tobacco facilities; salary $24.42 – 31.14/hr.

Utilization Review Supervisor, System, Florida: $30.98 – $37.95/hr.  NO TOBACCO Facility.  

Utilization Review Coordinator, Florida: No Tobacco.  $25.42 – $31.14/hour.   

Laboratory Billing Coordinator, Florida: $15.14 – $18.44/hr.
