We are working with a 250+bed acute care hospital in the Southern California market looking for a Laboratory Director. This is a highly respected Magnet recognized organization! Affiliated with an academic medical school. Hospital will look at Interim CA licensed qualified candidates immediately!
Looking to hire interim or permanent candidate by December 1st.
Position overview:
Responsible for the overall direction of the laboratory department, 7 areas. Ensures that diagnostic tests are performed accurately and efficiently and implements quality control programs. Develops policies and procedures, directs laboratory personnel, and ensures adequate staffing for the department. Will mentor and lead teams.
Required: 6 or more years directing a Laboratory Department, Bachelor’s degree in related field, Clinical Lab Scientist-CA(CLS). Masters preferred.
