Executive Director, Business Operations Patient Services – Large system hospital in Washington, D.C. Position reports to the AVP.
The incumbent in this position is an Executive Director, Business Operations for Patient Services Management and will assist the AVP in supporting the organization and the vision of standardizing and consolidating the pre-registration, scheduling and registration processes. The incumbent in this position has overall administrative responsibility and accountability for the management and direction of the operational, personnel and financial activities of the Patient Access department and extensive collaboration and coordination with MDAccess/Healthcare Referral department for the purpose of managing patient flows within the organization. Incumbent is tasked with the assessment and management of staffing of patient flows for all Patient Services Management points of service, as well as coordinating staffing levels and service offerings with front end operations for various areas. Incumbent will be tasked with anticipating and making process improvement changes to achieve optimal patient flow, improved patient satisfaction and increased reimbursement. They will manage a project from development to completion, including systems changes, personnel changes, staffing levels and organizational communication and updates.
· At least 5 – 7 years of progressively responsible management experience.
· Must have demonstrated experience in utilizing data to analyze and implement complex and demanding organizational changes to achieve desired outcomes.
· Demonstrated ability to evaluate and perform process improvement changes in staffing and work flows.
· Master’s Degree with emphasis on financial modeling and data analysis.
