HR Benefits Administrator
We are working with a small CAH hospital in the beautiful Oregon market looking for a Benefits Administrator to join their team.
Not-for-profit, Level IV trauma center in northwest Oregon. Hospital is partnered with a large healthcare organization.

Job Summary
Responsible for the administration of the hospital retirement and health and welfare employee benefit programs. Assures compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations. Responsibilities include explaining benefits and assisting in the business development and planning processes with service providers. Compiles, analyzes and reports data including employee, plan financials for strategic benefits planning and evaluation. Provides benefit plan interpretation, guidance and counsel to employees and hospital leadership. Presents information to inform and educate. Serves as a liaison with service providers in business planning and benefit program interpretation. Reviews, analyzes and evaluates benefit plan design and documentation, administration and legal compliance for benefit programs. Performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties involved in all aspects of employee benefit information; resolving insurance benefit, retirement, reporting and reconciliation issues; providing information to new and current employees, retirees, providers and/or administrators; Coordinates various committees. Undertakes specific projects in the areas of benefit plan or system replacements, enhancements or additions.

Job Requirements
Thorough knowledge of ever-changing legal and regulatory compliance for benefit plans, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, PPACA, ERISA and Section 125 benefit related State and Federal laws.
Strong analytical skills and ability to build, read, analyze, and interpret complex reports and data to support the ongoing management of benefits programs. Experience in analysis of benefit design to remain market competitive to recruit and retain caregivers while balancing costs. Success in design and implementation of legally compliant wellness initiatives.
Education and/or Experience:
BS in HR, Business or related field or equivalent in training and experience. 5+ years experience in benefits administration in Human Resources.
PHR, SPHR or CEBS preferred
